Rhinoplasty (nose job) is a very common procedure performed at the L..R. Dampier Cosmetic Surgery Center.  This procedure is sought after by those who are unhappy with their nose.  This discontent can come from nasal trauma, medical issues (trouble breathing through nose), as well as simply being unhappy with the nose we were born with.  Many people feel that their noses are too big, too long, have a “hump,” are crooked, or are just not the shape that they would like them to be.  For this, Dr. Dampier offers hope and satisfaction.

Patients seeking rhinoplasty should carefully itemize the things they dislike about their nose in order to communicate their expectations to Dr. Dampier.   We even encourage pictures of desirable noses (out of magazines, etc.) to get a better idea of what you would like your nose to look like after rhinoplasty.  During your consultation with Dr. Dampier, pictures will be taken of you in multiple angles.  They may then be “morphed” to place your desired nose on your face.  Once the desired look is achieved and agreed upon, surgical plans can be made.

It is important to realize that a rhinoplasty involves many components that address different “problem” areas of the nose.  A hump can be smoothed, a large nasal tip can be made smaller, and the tip can be raised or lowered depending on your preferences.  The entire nose can be narrowed as well.  All of these things can usually be corrected within one operation, though touch-ups may be needed.

If you are interested in rhinoplasty, please call our office for a confidential consultation.  Your nose is one of the first things anyone ever sees, and we encourage you to make it as beautiful as the rest of you!
